Deep in the heart of the Rocky Mountains near Mt. Crested Butte Colorado I found this beautiful Columbine flower nestled below a Corn Lily high in the switchbacks. It was early in the morning with and no wind with a lone coyote calling off in the distance. Every time I see this image, it brings back that quiet morning when I remember how I sat looking for miles over the valley.
